Magic of reading part 2

I LOVE to read with my kids and have always wanted a special room for that very purpose. When we moved into this house, I decided instead of having a formal living room, I wanted a reading room. So I drew upon the amazing talent of my brother and he was able to make us a magical room to read in. Below are a few pictures of the room, and the post below this is a continuation of pictures since I couldn't fit them all on one post. By the way, if there is anyone in the northern Utah area wanting a mural in their house, my brother is amazing (as you will see) and is looking for work, so let me know if you want his info.

This first picture is him just starting out (by the way, he got my input but pretty much came up with all of this on his own, which I LOVE).

Here is a picture of Jack climbing the bean stock. In the picture below, Jack is up above the shelf.
The full book on my wall - isn't this amazing?
Definitely look at the post below for the rest of the pictures - I think Kyle is totally amazing. And I just want to end this post with a poem that my friend Amber shared with me. It just helps you remember the importance of reading to your kids.

You may have tangible wealth untold:
Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.
Richer than I you can never be–
I had a Mother who read to me.

That room is incredible. It makes me wish I lived in Utah... or that my parents needed their house painted.
