My mom made some fun hats for the boys out of newspaper. They were supposed to wear them the other way (points front to back) but they just looked so cute like this, so we didn't tell them. My mom is such a cute Grandma.
It's tradition to have a big family Pig Dinner the night before Thanksgiving. We made a TON of spaghetti and I thought we would have oodles left over, but we ate all of it. It takes a lot of food to feed 25 people.
Matthew and I at Thanksgiving dinner. Notice all my mom's beautiful quilts in the background. It was so fun to eat in the garage and it was a life-saver to have that extra space to use.
The Christmas tree hunting crew. The kids didn't last very long so I spent most of the time up there in the Explorer with TJ and Addie. Addie had to use the bathroom while we were there, so that kept things exciting. I'll just say that boys have it so much easier when it comes to using the restroom when we're in the mountains. :-)

Hi Val,
It was so great to get the play by play about Thanksgiving. The garage looked GREAT! Seriously I would have never guessed that was the garage the quilts were a nice touch. You mom is so talented, I would love to come back in the next life as her. You and Matthew look so cute on Thanksgiving and the kids are darling too. Sorry about all the sickness it really stinks to get sick during a holiday. I'm glad you got to see all your family that is the best part of Thanksgiving and Parowan is the second best. We are leaving the day after Christmas for a week in Parowan. Merry Christmas!
