My sweet TJ is 3!

I took this picture today - my little boy is growing up!
This picture was taken a few months ago and shows TJ's silly sense of humor. He was supposed to be getting dressed, so he put his shorts on his head and his shirt on like shorts - what a crack-up. It's obvious he thought he was hilarious! I sure love this kid. And no, we don't make him sleep on wood - his mattress was in his "tent" - he slept there for days.
When we were in Utah he got quite attached to this piece of rubber that my mom uses to open bottles and stuff. He is pretty sentimental and get's attached to funny things. And that's cookie dough on his face - he was having fun making cookies with Grandma - TJ LOVES to help in the kitchen.
The first time he ever held Cooper. He is the ideal big brother - Cooper is lucky to have TJ as a brother. TJ loves to help take care of Cooper any way possible.
The Supermen of my life. What cuties, huh?
The first time TJ helped Matthew build a snowman. He LOVED it and all the way through the summer when we would walk by the back door he would say "That's where I built a snowman with daddy." I'm sure he's looking forward to many more snowmen this winter.
Halloween 2007. My darling little monkey (although some people thought he was a mouse)
Gotta love nylons over the head. This is how we entertain ourselves in small towns. :-) His pastimes are a by-product of his mom being from a town of 2,000.
This is one of my favorite pictures of TJ - it was taken a week or so after his first birthday.
TJ is my little angel - don't the clouds look like wings here? This was taken in San Francisco bay - you can kind of see Alcatraz in the back ground.
Halloween 2006. I love those chubby cheeks and big dimples.
Chillin' at Grandma's house in Utah - summer 2006
Another one of my favorite shots - how can you not smile after looking at this picture?
What up dude?
TJ was such a serious baby, but cute nonetheless.
Santa baby - taken when he was just a few weeks old
Our first family photo - what a magical day that was. My dream of finally becoming a mother finally coming to pass - and with my own little angel.

I can't believe that TJ is already 3 years old! Wow - where has the time gone? Here are a few pics looking back over the past three years. I wanted to start at the beginning and go to the most current, but that's not how they were loading and I was too lazy to try and move everything around, so we get to travel back in time one picture at a time. TJ has been such a joy the past three years, and it just keeps getting better (well, most the time anyway). I love to see him growing up so much and see how his little mind works now that he talks ALL the time. Yesterday he was playing with his little horse and he told him "I'm not very happy with you right now, but I still love you". Hmmm, nothing like seeing your parenting tactics mirrored in your three year old, huh? TJ has such a nurturing spirit about him, and he is so concerned about other people feelings and their happiness. If I'm not happy he tries to do whatever he can to make me happy. I truly feel so blessed to have him in my life. Happy birthday TJ!

Wow! The big "3". He is so cute! I loved all the pictures! It is so weird to think that Seth and TJ are only a few weeks apart. What if they were called to the same mission and were companions? What if they meet at Snow College, and continue their journey together to SUU? Wouldn't that be weird?!

What a wonderful post looking back on TJ's life so far. He is darling and I love his wacky sense of humor (where could he possibly get that from?) ;) And you sure cannot beat those dimples!!!

It's hard to believe that he's 3, though. Time sure does fly!

It was soooo much fun to hang out with that little guy while i was out there. His little voice is just the cutest ever. I loved building linking logs with him and reading with him. He was so thoughtful while I was "resting my eyes for a few minutes" I sure love that kid. I can't wait to see you next week. Yeah!!!!!

Aw...TJ is such a cutie! You can tell you absolutely love being a Mom by how you write about your kids. :)
