What a game

These are real pictures from our camera from my seat at the Cubs game. On June 1, I went to the Cubs game for a work outing. Tribune Company owns the Cubs so they have a couple of boxes. The CEO of Tribune also has four seats. I sat in one of these. It is the second row, right next to the dugout. The only thing blocking my view was the on deck batter!

It was a dream come true for me...to be that close to the action. I loved the crack of the bat most.

If you remember, Carlos Zambrano (a Cubs pitcher) and Michael Barrett (a former Cubs catcher) got in a fight during the game. I was about 10 feet from the fight!

We got to interact with the players while they were warming up and even Lou Pinella (the Cubs manager) said he would let my buddy bat in the ninth if they were still down.

This picture is from ESPN's webpage of a play at the plate during the game. You can see me in the background on the far left side screaming my head off because we got him out at the plate.
