Fun Holiday Review

Well, the holidays are over and we are back to the grind. We had a wonderful time in Utah and were able to spend time with family and make some memories not to be forgotten, especially on Christmas Eve. TJ loved getting to know his Grandma and Grandpa Vincent a little better, and he also finally decided that walking isn't so bad and has been doing quite a bit of it recently. He also had fun with his cousins Addie and Seth who spent most of the break with us. TJ was sick for a week while we were in Utah, but after a nice vomit all over his Uncle Ammon at breakfast he felt much better. Matthew flew back to Chicago on New Year's Eve day, so we were apart at the turning of the year, so we just talked to each other twice (at each of our Midnight's) and blew a kiss over the phone. :-) Valerie and TJ flew back on her birthday, which was a long day, leaving Parowan at 8:30 in the morning and not getting to Chicago until after 10:00pm, but once we finally made it home at 11:00pm Matthew made sure that Valerie had a chance to relax in a nice warm bath by candlelight with beautiful music, rose petals, a foot massage and chocolates, so the last hour of her birthday was wonderful.
