I had a ton of people ask about how I got such good deals, so here is my explanation. If deals and couponing are not your cup of tea, you may want to just skip this post.
Jewel (the grocery store here) had a sale of 10 for $10 as long as you bought 10 of participating items, so if I would have bought ten things, then my total should have been around $10. I had also registered my Jewel card at saveatjewel.com so there were some electronic coupons that I had in addition to the existing sale. I had an electronic coupon (comes off my total when I use my card) for $1 off Fiber One bars with a limit of 6, and since they were only $1 anyway, I was able to get 6 boxes of Fiber One bars for free...not bad huh? Pop-secret popcorn was also on my electronic coupon list for $.75 off, so I got a couple boxes of popcorn for .25 cents each. I also cut coupons from the Sunday paper and had some for the cereal that was on sale, as well as the make-up (buy one get one free) so that is how I got the good deals. Since I know a lot of my readers live out west and Jewel and Albertsons are pretty much the same store (same owner at least), I checked to see if there was a website for Alberson's and there is, so you Westerners can go to saveatalbertsons.com and register your card and then you can get additional coupons and it's nice cause you don't have to cut them out, you just use your card. And if you don't get the Sunday paper, there are still some websites that you can go to for coupons. They are:

http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/view.php?pg=smartsource
I'm sure there are lots more, but those are the two that I get a lot of coupons off of.
As for my CVS run, I just worked the Extra Bucks program. I looked and there aren't any CVS's in Utah, so sorry guys, unless you go to Vegas (the closest one to Cedar City) that's not really an option for you. If there are any of you reading this who don't know about the CVS deals and would like to (meaning you have a CVS near you and could benefit from it) let me know and I will try and explain it, but I don't really feel like typing it all out unless someone actually wants to know about it.
Sorry this is kind of a boring post, but I hope that it can save some of you a few bucks in the future. I'm always up for a good bargain so hopefully you are too.

I love saving money (and spending it)! Thanks for the tips. Since you are in UT for a little bit...I'll fill you in on mine. Wal Mart price matches everything, you just need to take the ad (bummer). Also, toys R us is having a great deal on Crayola products, "Buy 1, Get 2 FREE". If you take that to Wal MArt, it will be so cheap!
Also, Joann's takes all of their competitors coupons, and you can use as many as you want in your transaction...as long as they are from different stores. So, I print a coupon form Roberts (I usually google Provo Craft), and I also save the Michaels coupon from the paper, and then I Google "the cotton shops" and they offer a 35% coupon usually. Also, there have been a few from different fabric and hobby stores I have saved from the paper!
So, you have 3- 40% coupons from Roberts, Joanna, and Michaels, and then another 35% off from the Cotton shop. *Joann's, does have a catch though...you can only use the other store coupons on products that they sale in Joann's. (You can't use a Roberts coupon on fabric).
I hope you do more posts on saving money! I love to spend it, so I love it even more when I am saving it!
(I think this is my longest comment ever.)
