It's been too long....

I don't have a whole lot to report on right now, but it's been too long since I've updated our blog, so I figured I better write something before I get harassed any more. :-) Things here are going fine and it seems like we are just in a waiting game right now. I am 38+ weeks pregnant, and for a week have been dilated to a 2.5 and 70% effaced, so the baby could come any minute, or next week, or in two weeks, who knows??? It's hard when you don't dare commit to anything, or your commitment is always tentative. Today when I called Matthew at work to ask him a question, pretty much as soon as he picked up he asked if I was in labor and if everything was okay. He said he just gets nervous every time he sees our number on his caller ID. He works downtown so we are subject to the train schedule when anything happens, unless he wants to take a taxi which would cost an arm and a leg, and depending on time of day not be any quicker, so hopefully things will just start up at night so we don't have to worry about getting him home before getting me to the hospital. Luckily we live close to the hospital (less than 10 minutes) so that part shouldn't be too bad.

Other than waiting around for the baby, things are going well for us for the most part. Since I last posted Matthew's sister got married which was a great event, and it was fun to have family in that we haven't seen for a few years. Matthew's brother is getting married the beginning of May, so it will be fun to see family twice in such a short time.

Last week I stopped watching Katie, the little girl that I have watched for a year and a half, so it's been a bit of an adjustment there. TJ and Katie are just 5 months apart and absolutely love each other and have a great time together, so I think he has really missed having her around.

Well, I'm not sure what else to write about so I think I will call it quits here and maybe post a few pictures. I hope that we will have some baby news to put up here before too long. Hope everyone is doing well.
